Digital 35 mm

The full 35 format ALEXA line-up, plus other camera options.

The 35 mm format is by far the most significant in cinema history and remains the ubiquitous choice for productions of all kinds. ARRI launched the ALEXA camera system in 2010 with a sensor the same size and shape as a Super 35 film frame, allowing the use of 35 mm PL mount lenses, of which there are many.

As well as stocking the full range of ARRI 35 format digital cameras, ARRI Rental also carries options from other manufacturers, giving filmmakers the widest possible choice.

Cinematographer Dan Laustsen ("John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum")

In Morocco we shot a lot of handheld, so we used the Mini for that, and we used the Mini for Steadicam of course as well.

Without the flexibility of two ALEXA cameras with integrated accessories...we'd never have got through so many script pages a day.

Cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle ASC, BSC, DFF ("Rush")

I love the optical viewfinder of the ALEXA Studio; I miss the calm experience of the purring mirror and gate of a 35 mm camera inside my head.
