Digital 35 mm

The full 35 format ALEXA line-up, plus other camera options.

The 35 mm format is by far the most significant in cinema history and remains a compelling choice for many different types of production. Whether it's the state-of-the-art ALEXA 35, with 17 stops of dynamic range and ground-breaking color performance, or the ubiquitous ALEXA Mini, used on countless films, TV shows, and commercials, ARRI Rental has a digital Super 35 solution for all requirements and budgets.

For many filmmakers the great advantage of Super 35 is the rich variety of lenses available for the format, from modern options to vintage spherical and anamorphic optics dating back to the mid-twentieth century.

In Morocco we shot a lot of handheld, so we used the Mini for that, and we used the Mini for Steadicam of course as well.

Without the flexibility of two ALEXA cameras with integrated accessories...we'd never have got through so many script pages a day.

I love the optical viewfinder of the ALEXA Studio; I miss the calm experience of the purring mirror and gate of a 35 mm camera inside my head.
